Our Team

John Rackas is Vice President of The Benfield Group’s Health Care Practice. Recognized for experience on many sides of employer health care issues, John specializes in strategy and tactical planning. At Benfield, he helps pharmaceutical and medical device marketing managers and product managers develop and deliver information, programs and support of value to employers.

John has over 15 years of varied experience in the health care industry. He built his deep knowledge of the industry by working at multiple points in the delivery system, including employer marketing, pharmaceutical sales, benefits consulting and as a contract negotiator for the managed care industry.

John received his Bachelor of Science in Allied Health Professions from Ohio State University.
